Transferring your old accounts over to Independence Bank may seem daunting, so we have created a PDF to simplify the process for you! You can choose to type in the blanks before printing or print the blank document first and complete it by hand.
Just 3 simple steps:
- Open your IB account
- Bring your Relationship Kit paperwork to our office
- Obtain your Independence Bank account number at the time you open your account
- Switch your deposits and withdrawals
- Complete your Independence Bank account number in the appropriate spaces of the Relationship Kit forms
- Send your Direct Deposit & Automatic Withdrawal Authorization Forms to the appropriate party (remember, you will need a completed form for each party).
- Close your old account
- Verify that all outstanding items have cleared your account
- Verify successful transactions within your new Independence Bank account for each party you sent a Direct Deposit or Automatic Withdrawal Form.
- Send your Account Closure Authorization Forms onto your previous financial institution.
